Shannon I. O'Rourke
Shannon is an associate at Wornson Goggins, PC. Since joining the firm in 2024, she has gained experience in various areas such as real estate, business incorporation, contracts, intellectual property, wills and trusts, probate, divorce, and small claims court while developing a growing practice of her own.
Shannon obtained her law degree from the University of Saint Thomas School of Law. During law school she coordinated the Intellectual Property services provided at LegalCorps, assisting small businesses, entrepreneurs, and inventors in addressing their intellectual property concerns. She also served as a research assistant, interned with a small venture capital firm, clerked with an estate planning firm, competed on the 2024 Patent Drafting team, and served the Law School Hockey Team, the Fighting Apostles, both as a player and as the head of their social media department.
Shannon obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics from the College of Saint Benedict. She was a member of the 16th Cohort of the Entrepreneurial Scholars (E-Scholars) Program and remains active with the Donald McNeely Center at CSB/SJU.
In her free time, Shannon likes to play volleyball, hockey, and golf.
