Richard F. Wornson
Dick Wornson is retired. He had been practicing law for over 30 years prior to his retirement. Mr. Wornson was in private practice in New Prague, Minnesota since 1988 and he concentrated his practice in the areas of:
- real estate and real estate development;
- business organization, business acquisitions and general business contracts; and
- wills and estate planning.
Mr. Wornson was a past City Attorney for the City of New Prague and presently sits on numerous boards and advisory boards of closely held businesses located in Southern Minnesota. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Wornson was assistant general counsel for Texas Eastern Corporation, a multi national oil company located in Houston, Texas, and was a member of the law department of Unical Oil Company located in Los Angeles, California. As a corporate lawyer, Mr. Wornson worked on international oil joint ventures in England, Norway, Denmark, China, Indonesia, Australia and other countries and practiced before various federal regulatory bodies. Mr. Wornson received a bachelor of science degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University and a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University in Los Angeles.
